M42, the Great Nebula in Orion

The "Great" and Running Man Nebulae in Orion. First "real" shot with the new telescope. Pentax K5-iis DSLR mounted on a Stellarvue SV70t with 0.8 flattener/reducer on iOptron CEM25P mount, guided with 50mm Orion Mini Guide Scope and a ZWO ASI120MC-S camera.

I shot this over two nights in March of 2018, and recently revisited this image to see if I could process it better. Answer: Yes!

About 150 frames stacked and processed using Astro Pixel Processor, SiriL, Starnet++, and Photoshop.
