One of the first things we did after arriving was head up to the camp store on our bikes. Then we headed up the paved road for a mile and turned off onto the jeep road. That went well until we started encountering deep sand washed across the road by floods. After a couple miles of those pits we were pretty tired.

Then the sun came out.

I didn't really have a case of heat exhaustion by the time we got back, but by all rights I should have. Pretty stupid on my part.
