Milky Way from Newport State Park

This was done as sort of a lark on my first night in Door County while the telescope worked on the "real" picture. But I think this one is much more successful than the Croc's Eye one.

38 30-second exposures, using no more sophisticated equipment than a tripod. The horizon line is repasted from a single frame in the series, since the stacking registered the stars as they moved and thus blurred the stationary objects. ISO 800 with the K5-iis and the Rokinon 14mm at f/4.
