Our intrepid adventurers marvel at the dozens of people waiting to hit the water in canoes, lugging approximately 1.7 Everest's worth of gear each. We watched two guys launch who had obviously never seen a canoe before today, and offered some paddling tips. They were still up an hour later, so they must've done something right.
